Pernem: Pernem Police have arrested one Russian national identified as Vashali Spak (39) for possessing Ganja worth Rs 10,000 at Madhalawada, Arambol during a narcotic raid conducted on Tuesday.
The raid was conducted by the Pernem police team based on reliable information received by Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi, about the involvement of the Russian national in illegal drug activities. Pernem police have booked a case under section 20(b)(ii)(A) of NDPS and accused person is placed under arrest.

The raiding team was led by PI Jivba Dalvi and consisted of PSI Harish Vaingankar, PSI Sanjit Kandolkar, constables Vinod Pednekar, Anishkumar Poke, Ravi Mhaloji, Bhaskar Chari, Pravin Mahale and Smita Gauns.
