PANJIM: While the High Court of Bombay at Goa has continued with the interim relief to interior designer Sussane Khan, Goa Police have sought that she cooperate with the investigation.
The high court is hearing a petition filed by the celebrity seeking to quash the cheating FIR filed against her and to issue directions to Panjim Police not to initiate any coercive action against her till the final disposal of the petition.
When the matter came up for hearing on Thursday, the police submitted that she has failed to submit documents pertaining to the case despite an official communiqué sent to her. To this, her legal representative said she was not in the country.
“She is not in India at the moment which is why she is not able to join the probe. She will definitely join the investigation once she is back,” he told the court.
The matter has been kept for final disposal on July 27.
Panjim police are investigating a complaint filed by real estate firm Emgee Properties alleging that Khan represented herself as an architect and designer, and the company executed a contract with her for architectural and designing services but she failed to execute the project.
