PONDA: Ponda police on Wednesday arrested on Kush Naik (48) from Durgabhat, Ponda for assaulting Ajay Suresh Kumar (30) resident of Margao with wooden danda and causing fractures on his legs. The victim has been shifted to GMC.
According to Ponda police there was a quarrel between the two on Tuesday at Durgabhat, Ponda on some issue. Following which an argument took place between the two and in the fit of rage Kush assaulted Ajay.

Ajay was first shifted to Ponda Sub District Hospital and later taken to GMC. It is learnt that Ajay is residing in rented room.
