Ponda Police have registered an FIR against a father accused of molesting his teenage daughter, following a complaint filed by her school. The girl reportedly confided in her school counsellor, who informed the headmistress, prompting the school authorities to report the matter to the police.
Investigators stated that the incident occurred in the morning at the accused’s residence, where he allegedly assaulted the girl while under the influence of alcohol. At the time, the girl’s mother was away in her native place.
