PONDA:  The residents of Ponda may have heaved a sigh of relief following the hotmixing of some of the pothole-ridden main roads in the town. There are 15 wards in Ponda Municipal Council Jurisdiction.

Some of the roads in these wards are full of potholes due to sewerage work. In most parts of the town, the sewerage work stands completed and the locals want these routes hotmixed as they complained that commuting along them has been a painful experience.

MGP leader Dr Ketan Bhatikar said, “Pondaites suffered for the past five years and before election code of conduct comes into force the government should hotmix these roads.”
