Costa will arrive in Goa on January 11 after attending the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit on January 10 at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
On the same day he will meet Laxmikant Parsekar and Mridula Sinha and is slated to visit and spend time at his ancestral house in Margao. He will also visit NIO and meet with the Board of Directors and later visit the Old Goa Churches and the Mangueshi Temple along with his delegation.
A tribute by Goan civil society to the Prime Minister will held at the Adil Shah Palace, main hall in which a presentation of the English translation of the book “Sem Caras Nem Coroas”, by Orlando Costa (his father) will be presented.
On January 12, Costa and his team will tour the Birla optical fiber factory in Verna and have a walking visit to Bairro das Fontainhas, Fundação Oriente and Institute Menezes Braganza including the azulejos panels depicting scenes of “Os Lusíadas” at the entrance and Salgaocar College of Law.
Later in the evening he is slated to have a high profile meeting with Bollywood producers followed by a reception for the Portuguese/Indo-Portuguese Communities and local authorities.
