The Public Works Department (PWD), Goa, has announced the closure of the left-side main carriageway of National Highway-66 (NH-66) from O’Coqueiro Junction (P55) to Mall de Goa (P70) for all vehicles.
The order, issued by the Executive Engineer of Works Division-VII (NH), Panaji, who also serves as Administrator of NH-66 between Patradevi and Agassaim, states that the closure will remain in force from August 24, 2025, to January 31, 2026.

Officials said the move is necessary to ensure public safety and to enable the speedy completion of ongoing highway works. Traffic diversions and alternate routes are expected to be announced separately.
