The Konkani film “Claudia,” written and directed by renowned Goan filmmaker Rajendra Talak, is all set for its world premiere at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2025. The much-anticipated screening will take place on November 27 at 9:15 AM, marking a proud moment for the Goan film industry as “Claudia” gains international recognition.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of Goa, “Claudia” artfully explores themes of family, music, and cultural heritage, resonating deeply with audiences. Following its premiere, the film is scheduled for public release on December 19, offering locals and cinema enthusiasts a chance to experience this compelling story on the big screen.
In addition to this milestone, Talak highlighted that the Goa Film Finance Scheme has processed payments to local directors up to the year 2023, reflecting continued support for regional filmmakers. This financial backing is crucial for nurturing Goan cinema and encouraging creative storytelling.
