Ration shop owners warn they will not take up November’s quota after govt. fails to meet their demands

Fair Price shop owners from Mormugao Taluka stated that they would not take up the monthly quota for November in protest against the government’s failure to meet their demands despite the assurance given to them. President, of the Mormugao Fair Price Shop Owners Association Gandhi Henriques, said that the government has failed to bear the cost of transport and labour, which he said was their right under the National Food Security. He added that the commission given by the govt was insufficient.
