MARGAO: Ravindra Bhavan has announced plans to upgrade its main auditorium to a high standard, taking advantage of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). The auditorium will be closed for tiatr shows in October and November. Tiatr directors and producers were informed about the plans and have made arrangements to adjust their schedules. The main auditorium had previously been closed for repairs, but all major upgrades have been completed. Tiatr directors requested the auditorium for the first two weeks of October, and the Chairman, Rajendra Talak, assured them that their request would be considered. Talak stated that all tiatr directors have agreed to cooperate with the decision and that he understands the difficulties faced by tiatrists when their shows cannot be staged. The exact availability of the auditorium will be confirmed after the tender for the works is floated in September.
