Re-schedule exams to Oct 20: DoE to schools

PANJIM: The Directorate of Education (DoE) has directed schools to re-schedule their examination to October 20 on account of the special holiday declared by the government on October 19 in view of Eid-E-Milad un nabi. 

The secondary and higher secondary schools reopened for the current academic year in physical mode from Monday. However, the actual classes are expected to commence only after Diwali vacation, as the schools are currently conducting examinations for Class IX to XII.  

In a circular issued, the DoE has asked schools to ensure that the paper scheduled on Tuesday be conducted on Wednesday, October 20 on account of the special holiday. 

Meanwhile, the majority of the city based schools re-opened for conducting exams in physical mode.
