Investigations into the car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort on November 10 last year have revealed a far wider terror conspiracy, with sources indicating that the same module had also planned attacks on outlets of a global coffee chain.
According to sources familiar with the probe, the accused were preparing to carry out strikes in multiple major cities across India, pointing to an extensive and coordinated terror plan beyond the Red Fort incident.

The investigation has further revealed that the so-called “white-collar terror module” had allegedly been active for the past four years, operating discreetly while planning attacks on high-profile and crowded locations.
Sources also said timely intelligence inputs from the Jammu and Kashmir Police played a crucial role in foiling several planned terror strikes in November and December. These potential attacks were aimed at locations across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, averting what could have been significant security threats in the region.
Security agencies continue to probe the wider network and possible links as investigations into the case remain ongoing.
