Restrictions on liquor

PANJIM, MARCH 12: In view of general election to 30 wards of CCP, the Government in a notification has prescribed the maximum quantity of liquor which can be transported from one place to another within the municipal areas of CCP.

PANJIM, MARCH 12: In view of general election to 30 wards of CCP, the Government in a notification has prescribed the maximum quantity of liquor which can be transported from one place to another within the municipal areas of CCP.
This also implies to the jurisdiction of panchayats areas of Taleigao, St Cruz, Chimbel, Nerul, Penha-de-France and Old Goa by any person or which can be possessed by any person without a permit issued in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the Rules in force.
Three quart bottles of Indian made foreign liquor other than beer and six bottles of beer for any person including his family.
Three quart bottles of country liquor for any person including his family.   The Notification shall remain in force within the Municipal area of CCP and also within the jurisdiction of Panchayats areas of Taleigao, St. Cruz, Chimbel, Nerul, Penha-de-France and Old Goa, on the day of polling (March 13) and counting of votes (March 14).
