VASCO: Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida launched the work of tarring of roads near Gomanteshwar Temple in the Mormugao Municipal Council jurisdiction area, estimated at a cost of Rs 1 crore, recently.

On the occasion, the persons, who had contested for the last MMC elections from the same ward, were present. It was a gesture of unity and the Vasco MLA expressed happiness over it. The MLA mentioned that after the roads are tarred, the youngsters should ride bikes slowly and safely to avoid any accidents.
Meanwhile, MMC’s former chairperson Deepak Naik gave credit to this display of unity among the past candidates due to Vasco MLA.
Naik upheld the support of the legislator and opined that to carry out development in their wards MLA’s support is important.
