MAPUSA: Pernem Police arrested 41-year-old Russian national Dmitry Boldov for illegal possession of narcotics substances, suspected to be LSD and ganja worth Rs 8.5 lakh.
PI Jivba Dalvi said that he had received credible information and on a surprise raid at a guesthouse the accused was found possessing the narcotics substances.

An offence under Sections 20 (b) (ii) (A) and 22 (b) of NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The PI said that the guesthouse owner had failed to fill the C Form of the accused and hence another offence under Section 14 of Foreigners Act has been registered against the owner.
