Prateek Yadav, brother of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and former political aspirant, has announced his decision to divorce his wife, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Aparna Yadav. The announcement, made via his official Instagram account, quickly sparked widespread discussions on social media.
In his post, Prateek accused Aparna of being selfish and claimed she had disrupted his family life. He alleged she was focused solely on gaining fame and influence, showing little concern for his mental well-being.
“I am going to divorce this selfish woman as soon as possible. She ruined my family ties,” he wrote, revealing that he is in a “very bad mental health condition” due to her alleged indifference.
