BELGAUM: Belgaum police late Thursday night, in a raid near Nippani about 65 kms from Belgaum, recovered red sandalwood, estimated at Rs 5 crore, that was allegedly smuggled from the Western Ghats region bordering Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
