BICHOLIM: Some unknown culprits burgled at famous Datta Mandir in Sanquelim on Wednesday midnight by breaking the front left door open and decamping with a silver ark and other silver items worth Rs 3 lakh. The complaint in this connection has been lodged by committee member, Sudatt Mandrekar from Bicholim.
According to Bicholim police, the burglary was committed between 1.50 am to 2.10 am.
On being informed, police rushed to the spot and conducted a panchanama. A dog squad was also pressed into service and finger print experts were also called in but it was not possible to identify the culprits.
