VALPOI: Sattari famers demanded Government and Agriculture Minister to release the compensation for heavy loss they suffered in recent flood and failing which, they threaten to protest.
Fruits and vegetable farmers had sustained huge loss as the plantations were damaged and vegetable farms were washed away in the flood. The Valpoi Zonal Agricultural Officials had submitted their site inspection report to the government, buts still it is long due, revealed the farmers.

There are around three thousands famers in Sattari, who are registered under Krishi card. According to them, they have not received the compensation of last three floods.
