BICHOLIM: Stating that Mopa airport is the need of the hour, BJP candidate for North Goa Shirpad Naik said if elected to power, he will stress upon generating employment opportunities in the State.
Speaking to Herald, Naik said the people should not oppose the proposed Mopa airport. “What we need is to stress upon IT and Tourism and if this is to be done, then Mopa airport is the need of the hour,” stated Naik.
“This time we have several issues and our agenda will be to give special status to the State, generate employment opportunities, restart legal mining, roads and Mopa airport,” he said.
