MARGAO: Shadow Council for Margao (SCM) on Friday demanded that the Margao Municipal Council (MMC) explain the reasons for extension of the Old Market fair, which has completed 10 days, and with the following Saturday and Sunday, the total number of day’s going up to a record number of 12 days.
Speaking to the media persons Savio Coutinho, Convenor of SCM said it is indeed a pity that our representatives of Madel and Fatorda could show no empathy to the hardships faced by the surrounding residents and general public, but instead preferred to protect the interests of some agent’s.
