In a significant development in the Arambol hydroponic weed case, Goa Police have made a second arrest. Shabeel K.V., a resident of Frazer Town in Bengaluru, was apprehended for allegedly supplying narcotics to the primary accused, Afsal Puthiyaveettil (33).
Investigators say that call records and a suspicious financial trail link Shabeel to the drug operation, prompting authorities to invoke Section 29 of the NDPS Act, which deals with criminal conspiracy related to drug offences.
