Sena alleges conspiracy in scheme review

PANJIM: Shiv Sena has alleged that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s decision to review the cases of beneficiaries of social sector schemes is a conspiracy to seek revenge on those who did not vote for the BJP in the February elections.

PANJIM: Shiv Sena has alleged that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s decision to review the cases of beneficiaries of social sector schemes is a conspiracy to seek revenge on those who did not vote for the BJP in the February elections.
“His own government had scrutinised the cases before giving them benefits of the schemes like Ladli Laxmi and Griha Aadhar. If there’s a need to re-verify the cases that means he himself agrees that his own government has allotted the schemes fraudulently just to influence the voters and increase the number of beneficiaries as much as possible in the intentions to convert them into votes which has gone futile,” Shiv Sena Spokesperson Jitesh Kamat alleged.
He further said that this is a clear conspiracy to cancel the names of those beneficiaries who have not voted in the favour of the BJP making it a weapon of blackmail for the forthcoming polls.
“If even a single case is found of having cancelled the scheme of needy just to take revenge then Shiv Sena will be ready for an agitation,” Kamat said.
