She wrapped up her campaign with a final jump of 6.69m, capping off a memorable outing.The remarkable performance also helped Shaili achieve the Asian Games qualification standard set by the Athletics Federation of India, further strengthening her position as India’s leading women’s long jumper.Born on March 1, 2001, in Thrissur, Kerala, Shaili represents both the Indian Navy and the Services in domestic competitions. She serves as a Chief Petty Officer in the Indian Navy alongside her athletics career.Shaili first rose to prominence after winning the silver medal at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou with a jump of 6.63m. Since then, she has continued her upward trajectory, adding another silver at the 2025 Asian Athletics Championships and a bronze medal at the 2026 Asian Indoor Athletics Championships.
