A committee under the chairmanship of additional Home secretary (Foreigners) B K Prasad, set up by the Home ministry to study the matter of dual citizenship issue in Goa, will submit its report in the month of June, South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar said. The committee has been to Goa and taken the stock of the situation.
The issue affects a number of Goans who have opted for Portuguese citizenship but not given up their Indian citizenship.
