GPCC President Subhash Shirodkar has congratulated MP Shantaram Naik for having been selected among the best 25 MPs who made an impact in parliament in the last five years in the times of India assessment.
According to a press release issued here, Shantaram Naik speaks with understanding and concern on electoral reforms and has supported the idea of making voter ID cards mandatory.
He has also called for special efforts to ensure Indians working abroad get voting rights in India. He is an advocate of the Konkani cause and has the honour of becoming the president of GPCC thrice, adds the press release.
