PANJIM: Welcome aboard the Mission to Planet Sunburn at Vagator, on December 27, 28 and 29, a gigantic festival, never seen in Asia ever before.
Completely redefined and reloaded, this year’s Sunburn’s flagship Goa Festival is about to kick the concept of live entertainment into outer orbit. Sunburn Season 7 has already been a completely redefined and reloaded experience, crushing all expectations of electronic music events in India. Sunburn Goa is no exception.
As Asia’s #1 Music Festival, the organizers are ready to take things to the next level: 7 massive Stages each with its own creative concept and technological innovations, will present favourite electronic music artists from India and all across the world. For this they’ve partnered with some of the absolute best production design teams. Darkroom, from the UK, for one, has been hard at work re-designing Cubezoid, voted the fans favourite stage for the last 2 years.
And, sure to blow the audience’s minds, they are creating Asia’s largest single stage. A super-mega-stage, the Sunburn Goa main stage this year is set in a beautiful natural amphitheatre for fans to enjoy mind-blowing sets by the likes of Axwell, Afrojack, and Markus Schulz.
Completely beyond imagination, it will redefine – in size, creativity and drama – how India puts a show on stage. Stage, sound lights and special effects have never looked so good! 120 Artists and over 200 hours of Music: Trance, House, Electro, Techno, Drum & Bass, Psy-trance, Experimental – whatever music enthusiasts want, they can get! Global superstars like Axwell, Afrojack, Markus Schulz, Pete Tong, Mark Knight, Andrew Rayel, Quintino, James Zabiela, Ummet Ozcan, flanked by the best Indian talent like Dualist Inquiry, (S)haan, Lost Stories, Anish Sood, Kohra, Jayant, Nucleya, its all going down at Sunburn Goa!
The festival will also showcase three very special stages – Jacked! presented by Afrojack, Toolroom Knights by Mark Knight, and Pete Tong presents his All Gone stage. And all this is just phase 1, they still have over 50 more artists to be announced next week!
Sunburn Goa 2013 will have the largest Artist Village in Asia: Watch for meet and greet contests to win a chance to enter the Artist Village and meet favorite DJs! The venue will also have reloaded nourishment: Elaborate food courts full of local flavours to keep merry makers nourished and ready to dance. Reconfigured bars will keep the drinks flowing.
On-site Camping: This year, Sunburn is thrilled to offer limited availability on-site camping. For those really adventurous souls that don’t want to miss a single beat, camping on-site takes the festival experience to the next level.
Sunburn Cruises: Need a little break from the music? How about a Sunburn cruise on the Arabian Sea? Just pop down the beach, catch the next cruise into the sunset and look back on the massive, new Planet Sunburn.
A new level of experience: We’ve got a totally redesigned flea market. A book library, circus tents, and an open air movie theater. An above sea-level psy stage. A full-on kite festival and a ferris wheel. Huge sports village to work up a sweat. And a VIP foam party. It’s a freaking festival guys! Come outside to play, and come early!
After the massive success of Sunburn Goa 2012 and with so many fans pre-buying tickets and booking their travel early for Goa 2013 we knew that we needed a bigger venue! So Sunburn went looking for a bigger, better and more accessible venue. And we found it! 10 times larger than it’s previous location, Vagator is a beautiful stretch of landscape for Sunburn’s flagship festival to call home. Nestled right in the middle of the North Goa strip, it is more convenient for fans to reach from all directions. Touching the shoreline and stretching up into the hills, the view of the Arabian Sea and North Goa coastline is breathtaking. And it’s a natural amphitheatre!
This venue has unlimited parking for free. Besides there will be more after parties. Since we are smack in the center of North Goa, fans will have a touch choice deciding on which Sunburn after party, in which direction, with which DJ.
