Organizers of the Sunburn music festival have assured placing all possible security measures to ensure a safe event slated to begin from December 27 on Candolim beach.
Sunburn officials said that the event will sport 32 CCTV cameras, a two level manned security, sniffer dogs, narcotics patrol officers, an emergency medical team equipped with a mini clinic, an onsite medical team and medical consultants, six emergency exits and 4 watch towers.
“With several thousand people expected at Sunburn 2010, the Sunburn team in collaboration with the Goa Police is taking all the necessary steps to ensure that all have a safe and secure time at the festival,” Shailendra Singh, Joint Managing Director, Percept Limited said.
The three-day event will also have on call a first of its kind disaster management team in case or an emergency. “From cleaning up waste grounds in neighboring areas of the venue for safe parking of vehicles to providing over 100 volunteers for directing and easing traffic congestion on the roads, the Sunburn team is lending its hand wherever possible,” he said.
