Surla villagers root for cleanliness

MAYEM: Villagers of Surla have resolved to undertake cleanliness activity by cutting all bushes and dangerous trees in the village.
The decision was taken in a recent meeting at the Surla panchayat. Sarpanch Sanjay Surlakar Deputy Sarpanch Rameshwari Ghadi, Panchas Manisha Tari, Mangaldas Usagaonkar, Suryakant Gawade and Bhola Khodginkar attended the meeting. The villagers demanded with the sarpanch to cut down grown bushes and dangerous trees in the panchayat area in order to provide safety to the villagers. The sarpanch said he has already informed the persons concerned.
The villagers also expressed concern over lackadaisical attitude of the panchayat authorities in promoting agricultural activities and other development works in the village. They further demanded that the material which is provided by the government under different schemes should be made available in the panchayat office for the benefit of villagers.
