Three houses damaged at Nanoda

About three houses from Usap-Nanoda in Bicholim taluka were damaged on Saturday, after trees got uprooted due to strong winds.
According to the Bicholim fire services, the houses belonging to Mahadev Naik, Anand Naik and Manohar Gaonkar were partially damaged as trees fell on them at about 3 pm. The combined loss is estimated to be about 30,000.
Meanwhile, the fire services also attended to several other calls in the taluka and cleared trees that got uprooted at various places.
