PANJIM: Three complaints have been filed in cash for jobs scam against Manikrao Rane, Uma Patil and Diksha Talavanekar at Bicholim, Colvale and Vasco police stations. The complaints were filed on Friday and Thursday respectively.

In the Bicholim complaint filed against Manikrao Rane of Sattari and another complaint has been filed against Uma Patil of Vasco

Sheetal Sawal of Kansarwada, Ona Maulinguem, Bicholim said that Manikrao Rane to pay Rs.2 lakh to provide a government job to the son

Rane also induced her to pay Rs 1.5 lakh to give job to her other neighbour Puja Yende

Rs 3.5 lakh from Abhishek Dhuri, Rs 3.5 lakh from Dinesh Gaonkar and Rs 11 lakh from Satyawan Gaonkar

Rane promised to provide jobs to them in various government departments.

The accused cheated all of them to the tune of Rs 21.5 lakh

In the Colvale complaint Ujwala Siddesh Parab, of Nadoda Revora Bardez complained that Uma Patil induced her to pay Rs 4 lakh

The inducement was to provide a government job to her husband

Uma Patil however failed to provide the job nor return the money

Uma Patil is presently in Police custody of Vasco PS and transferred warrant is moved before JMFC

In the Vasco case police register offence against Diksha Talavanekar, for cheating a woman Mina Chodankar of Baina

She was defrauded to the tune of Rs 3 lakhs for providing a government job as a peon in Government School Baina
