BAGA: A Drishti lifeguard on Monday rescued a 21-year-old tourist from Hyderabad, while drowning at Baga Beach, on Monday.

According to information received, a group of four male tourists had ventured into the water at Baga Beach at around 3.30 pm when one of them lost his footing and got pulled by receding tide into the sea.
He further began drifting into the deeper water when he was spotted by a Drishti lifeguard, who then rushed into the water and managed to rescue the tourist by using tube and swim him to the shore.
