MARGAO: A truck carrying goods went off the road at Uzro Raia and damaged an electricity pole and a part of an old bridge.
According to Maina Curtorim police accident took place on Saturday late night while a truck loaded with goods was coming from Ponda towards Margao. Police said that when it reached near Uzro Raia the driver lost the control of the truck and rammed into an electricity pole.

Maina Curtirim police rushed to Uzro and registered an accident case. Police said that driver escaped with minor injuries while the truck, the pole and the bridge suffered damages.
The police said that the Electricity Department has been informed so that the electric pole can be repaired.
