PANJIM: Crime Branch (CB) sleuths on Wednesday arrested a Nigerian national and an Indian tourist for allegedly peddling drugs in the northern coastal belt.

In the first raid at Arambol, the team zeroed in on Oformata Chokwudi with drugs suspected to be Ganja worth Rs 1 lakh.
The second raid at Anjuna saw the arrest of Mareddy Bharath Kumar Reddy, a 27-year-old native of Andhra Pradesh who was caught red hand with Ganja worth Rs 1 lakh. PSI Sujay Korgaonkar is further investigating the case.
Both are arrested under the NDPS Act and remanded for custodial interrogation.
