MARGAO: Sulimark will hold its exhibition under the theme of celebrating Ganesh in an eco-friendly way on Saturday and Sunday at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, from 3 pm to 8 pm where there will be a lot of things to choose and purchase.
Eco-friendly decorations for Ganesh will be available along with homemade sweets prepared by various self help groups and also for sale will be organically grown vegetables and fruits that will go a long way to make the Ganesh celebrations truly eco-friendly.
Besides, Sulimark will be accepting used plastic bottles and empty milk packets provided clean ones are given.
On Saturday, an elocution competition will be held for children up to the age of 10 in English or Konkani where they will have to speak for two to three minutes on the topic “Let us celebrate Ganesh responsibly.”
