PANJIM: Two field surveyors attached to the Director of Settlement and Land Records are under scanner for allegedly seeking bribe to keep certain areas out of private forest.
Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane said that he will move a file through his department to the Vigilance department against the two field surveyors Mohamed Irshad and Pramod Naik. Several complaints have been received against the duo, he added.
The Forest Minister has alleged that the duo were asking money from people while doing survey to keep their areas out of private forest.
