PERNEM: Two cousin brothers died of drowning at Ashwem beach on Saturday.
The victims are identified as AdityaAbhyakumar Magadum (26), a resident of Sammed Nagar, Udaymbag and Abhijeet Ashok Magadum (33) a resident of Hindwadi, Belgaum.
According to police, the victims along with six others had come to Goa. On Saturday evening, they went for a swim at sea off Ashwem beach, when three persons drowned. However, the lifeguard on duty managed to rescue only one, while other two died in the incident.
