BASTORA: Around 25 locals stopped two trucks from dumping debris in a comunidade field at Bastora near Hotel Green Park on Friday late night. The gathering summoned the Mapusa police who reached the spot at around 11.30 pm after which the trucks were taken to the police station.
Mapusa PI Kapil Nayak informed that two trucks were found dumping mud in a field on Friday late night.
“Regarding the issue the Mapusa police have sent an incident report sent to the TCP. They will carry out an inspection at the site and check if it is illegal. Accordingly, it will be decided if an FIR has to be registered in regards to the same or not,” Nayak said.
