UP native killed in Campal

PANJIM: An Uttar Pradesh (UP) native was killed by three unknown people at Campal parade ground on Sunday night.

PANJIM: An Uttar Pradesh (UP) native was killed by three unknown people at Campal parade ground on Sunday night. 
Panjim Police have registered an offence based on the complaint of the one Akash Das of Mumbai, against three unknown persons, who had assaulted the deceased. 
Panjim Police Inspector Sidhant Shirodkar said the deceased has been identified as Manoj alias Aman Yadav of Gaziabad Uttar Pradesh.
He said the murder was due to previous enmity and Das had seen Yadav being assaulted by three unknown persons. Das said he was also assaulted by the assailants when he tried to intervene. He informed the Police that he can identify the accused if produced before him.
Police said that based on the description of the accused given by Das sketches will be drawn to identify and proceed further to investigate the case. Police said that two days prior to the incident Yadav had also been assaulted by the three persons.     
“We are trying to identify the accused based on the description and the series of sequences mentioned by the complainant,” Shirodkar said.
