PONDA: The Usgao-Ganjem Panchayat issued a final notice to one Tilak K Nath, a resident of Vadbag-Usgao directing him to demolish his alleged illegal house failing which the same would be razed immediately.
A complaint in this regard was filed by Rohan Naik from Usgao alleging that Tilak had carried out the illegal house construction. The Panchayat had issued a show cause notice to the owner in July to demolish the house and did not find his reply to be satisfactory. The house owner also failed to submit a valid licence and the TCP approval. In the notice, the panchayat said the owner did not even obtain its permission and the decision to demolish the illegal house was taken at the panchayat meeting.
