PONDA: Usgao locals on Thursday alleged that due to rotten meat being processed in a rendering machine at Goa Meat Complex, a foul smell has spread in the area causing them inconvenience.

They have also claimed that rotten meat is being thrown out in the open. There is a school in close proximity to the complex and so, this is affecting the students as well.
Meat from various parts of the State is brought to the complex but sometimes there is not enough stock to process the already brought meat which eventually starts to rot.
