MARGAO: Colva Police discovered the body of a 35-year-old man on the seashore behind St Regis Hotel, Mobor beach, Cavelossim, following a report from the Margao Police Control Room.
Identified as Rajesh Mamgain, a native of Krishnanagar, Roorkee, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, the deceased was found with a backpack.
Initial investigations suggest no foul play, with police suspecting suicide due to Mamgain’s reported depression over unemployment. His family members confirmed his struggles with joblessness.
After conducting an inquest panchanama, the body has been transferred to the South Goa District Hospital for further procedures.
