Residents of Vaidongar have come together in strong opposition to the alleged ongoing illegal sand mining in the Parcem area, warning that the activity poses a serious threat to the environment, local water sources and the very survival of the village.
Villagers from the Vaidongar area have taken a firm stand to safeguard their rights and protect natural resources, expressing concern that unchecked sand extraction could lead to ecological degradation and long-term damage to the region. In a show of solidarity, the Parcem Village Panchayat has officially extended its support to the residents’ protest.
Seeking justice and protection, the villagers also offered prayers at the Siddhanath Devasthan, lending a spiritual dimension to their movement and reinforcing their collective resolve to preserve their land and livelihood.
