The Eveready UM 52 Power Bank is a very compact battery back, of small size (try putting 2 standard eyedrop bottle packs side-by-side, that’s how small this is). The power button is unllikely to be pressed by things in your backpack because of its small size and flush surface. This is especially useful on long journeys, esp Indian Railways, where a proper charging point is not guaranteed. I have used it for Sony XPS phone and Google Nexus 7, without any problems. It is easy to use, and you know exactly in what state the battery charge level is by the blue LED indicators. The pack itself can be charged by a micro-USB port, either from a computer, or a wall mount charger. The output (2 ports) is through standard USB, and it comes with a short USB cable with interchangeable male connectors for iPhone, mini-USB, and micro-USB. My phone got charged from 15% to 100% within an hour without any change in the LED indicator levels (the full charged-4 lights remained 4), so I guess it will easily charge the phone at least 3 times on a full pack.
