Villagers Oppose State Road Status in Agarwada Chopde; Demand Rural Road Classification

Residents of the Agarwada Chopde Panchayat area have voiced strong opposition to the proposed classification of local roads as state-level roads, during a recent meeting convened by the panchayat mandal.

The meeting, held to address concerns surrounding ongoing and future road widening work, saw villagers unanimously demanding that the roads within the panchayat jurisdiction remain designated as rural roads. Locals fear that converting them into state roads could lead to unwanted expansion, increased traffic, and disruption to the village environment.
