Residents in parts of South Goa will face a temporary disruption in water supply on March 25 due to urgent repair work on a major pipeline.
According to officials, water supply will remain restricted between 9 am and 5 pm in Curchorem–Cacora, parts of Sanvordem, and surrounding areas. The disruption is being carried out to facilitate repairs of a 400 mm diameter ductile iron (DI) pipeline at Kakoda.
Authorities have urged residents in the affected areas to store adequate water in advance to avoid inconvenience during the shutdown period.
Water supply is expected to resume once the repair work is completed later in the day.
