Water supply hit in S Goa on May 5-6

MARGAO: Water supply across most parts of South Goa will remain suspend-ed on May 5 and 6 due to maintenance work on the main pipeline of the Saleli Water Treatment Plant, the Public Works Department (PWD) said.

According to officials, repairs will be carried out on the 1200 mm di-ameter main PSC pipeline connected to the 160 MLD plant, requiring a complete shutdown of supply through the line during the two-day period.
