The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations for Class 10 students in Goa will begin on March 13, 2026, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced. The examinations will continue until April 9, with a total of 32 centres set up across the state.
The board stated that the exams will start at 9:30 a.m. each day. Students must arrive at their respective examination centres no later than 9:00 a.m., ensuring they are seated well before the exam begins. The seating arrangements for all centres have been made available on the official website of the board.

Strict rules have been laid down for candidates appearing for the examinations. Students arriving more than 30 minutes late after the start of the exam will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. In addition, candidates will not be permitted to leave the hall during the first hour of the exam.
Students must carry their hall tickets while attending the examination. Only certain items will be permitted inside the exam hall, including transparent water bottles without labels, transparent writing pads, and personal drawing instruments kept in pouches.
The board has also instructed candidates to use blue ballpoint pens to write their answers and pencils for diagrams or geometrical constructions. Seat numbers must be written clearly on the question paper.
To maintain discipline and prevent unfair practices, students have also been advised not to wear attire with multiple pockets during the examination period
