A serious road accident was reported near Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium at St Cruz, in which a Karnataka-registered woman riding a Bullet motorcycle sustained severe injuries.
According to eyewitnesses, a pickup vehicle veered into the opposite lane while attempting to avoid another biker and crashed into the woman’s motorcycle. The impact left the rider seriously injured.
The injured woman was immediately rushed to a private hospital for medical treatment. Further details regarding the incident are awaited.
