VASCO: Two persons snatched a mangalsutra of a woman worth Rs 1.5 lakh in broad daylight at Mangor Hill, Vasco, on Thursday morning.
According to Vasco police, the incident took place at about 11.30 am, as Harsha Mashelkar (49) of Driver Hill, Vasco, was returning home after purchasing vegetables from a horticulture stall at Mangor Hill.
The two thieves grabbed her mangalsutra worth Rs 1.5 lakh and fled from the site. Vasco police have registered an offence in this connection and PSI Nikhil Palekar is investigating the case.
